Angela & Greg Bates What a great loss! May 20, 2009
We were looking up on the web to make reservations when we saw Bud had passed.  How sad indeed!  He was always a delight and he will be missed.  Cannon Beach will not be the same.  Our thoughts will be with your family in your time of loss.  We will celebrate his life and what a super life he lived!

Dear Stevens Family:

We've just learned of your great loss and wanted to let you know we are thinking of you.  Derek and I were great fans of Bud and he will certainly be missed.  He was so very proud of his family and we hope you can take some comfort in that.  We will certainly miss his stories of the old days and his comments on things going on today.  Please accept our sincerely sympathy at his passing.  We will certainly light another candle for him when we are there in June.

Sincerely,

Roni & Derek

Dear Jeanette, Sally and Mike

Dad and I are feeling such great sadness in Bud's passing.  With our yearly 2 weeks in May coming very soon, we are already feeling the loss from Bud's passing.  Last year, even though Bud's health was deteriorating, he still managed to sit at his chair at the front office a few hours here and there.  Dad and I will cherish our many memories, conversations and stories we've shared with Bud.  A comforting thought for us is knowing that he and my dear Mom are laughing and walking the beaches in heaven together.  We can picture the two of them sitting on a beach wall enjoying the view and saving a spot for the rest if us. A 30 year friendship that will last forever.  Will hug you and cry together, Jeanette, when we see you May.  Love Diane and Arnold

Stevens Family,

So sorry to hear about Bud's passing. We will surely miss him. This card reminded me of September when we come down to Cannon Beach and see the sea gulls and pelicans. Our prayers are with you all - see you in Sept 09.
