Jeannette, Sally & Mike,
We are very sorry to have learned of Bud's passing. Words cannot describe the happy memories our family has had at Ecola Inn.
The first time I called, Bud asked if I was married - he didn't want any wild parties going on.
We remember all the hard work your family did together. I'll always remember Bud's perfect posture as he did his morning walk with the dog.
Also, he was 'Mr. Chamber of commerce' at his desk, helping people with information. we will miss his presence.

I can't believe I will not see Bud behind the desk. He was so good to us - was a very special friend for over 50 years! We love you and wish we could be with you at this sad time.

We're very sorry to hear of the passing of our old friend, Bud Stevens. This may be a bit late but we wish all the best for Jeanette and Sally. We had many spirited conversations with Mr Stevens and will never forget his passion for Cannon Beach. RIP Bud.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family! In the 1980's, we stayed at the Ecola Inn each summer for many years. We always looked forward to seeing " Bud " , who would reserve a place for us every year. We LOVED staying at the Ecola Inn, loved talking with Bud at length and always appreciated his wit and wisdom. Our lives were enriched by his sharing of many stories and...by staying at your lovely Inn.

Jeanette, Sally and Mike,
We were truly saddened to learn of Bud's passing. The Stevens family and the Ecola Inn are a large part of our fond memories of Cannon Beach, our favorite spot on the Oregon Coast. We loved his frankness and his take on current events. His presence will be missed. Our prayers for all of you who carry on.
